يُشكّل مشروع مطار الديوانية الدولي والمنطقة الحرة رؤية استثمارية واقتصادية متكاملة، تهدف إلى إنشاء بوابة جديدة للتجارة والشحن الدولي في العراق، تنطلق من محافظة الديوانية لتخدم الاقتصاد العراقي بصورة عامة.The Diwaniyah International Airport & Free Zone is an integrated investment and economic vision to create a new gateway for trade and international cargo in Iraq — launched from Diwaniyah Governorate to serve the Iraqi economy as a whole.
وقد أُعدّت المخططات والدراسات الأساسية للمشروع بمشاركة نخبة تضم أكثر من 20 مستشاراً وخبيراً دولياً من منطقة الخليج وفرنسا، لوضع الأسس الفنية والتشغيلية لانطلاق المشروع بأسرع وقت ممكن.The master plans and core studies were prepared with an elite of more than twenty international consultants and experts from the Gulf region and France, laying the technical and operational foundations to launch the project as swiftly as possible.

يُعدّ المشروع من المشاريع المتكاملة في العراق التي تضع الشحن والتجارة الدولية في صميم نشاط المطار، مع توفير البنية التحتية والخدمات اللازمة لاستقطاب شركات الشحن والطيران والخدمات اللوجستية العالمية.One of Iraq’s truly integrated projects, placing cargo and international trade at the heart of the airport’s activity — with the infrastructure and services needed to attract global cargo, airline and logistics companies.
المنطقة الحرة ومدينة المعارضFree Zone & Exhibition CityIII
تضم المنطقة الحرة مدينة معارض يدخلها الزوار من خارج نطاق المطار، بما يسمح بالتسوق والتعامل المباشر مع الشركات والمصانع.The free zone includes an exhibition city open to visitors from outside the airport perimeter, allowing shopping and direct dealing with companies and factories.

يتميّز موقع المشروع بقربه من مسارات النقل الاستراتيجية، ولا سيما طريق التنمية، بما يعزز التكامل بين النقل الجوي والبري والخدمات اللوجستية، ويمنح المشروع فرصة ليكون مركزاً مهماً لحركة البضائع والتجارة بين العراق والأسواق الإقليمية والدولية.The project’s location benefits from strategic transport corridors — above all the Development Road — strengthening integration between air transport, land transport and logistics, and positioning it as a key hub for the movement of goods and trade between Iraq and regional and international markets.

شركة طيران للمشروع — An Airline for the Project — تتضمن الرؤية الاستثمارية تأسيس نشاط وشركة طيران مرتبطة بالمشروع، لدعم عملياته وتوسيع شبكة خدماته مستقبلاً، إلى جانب استقطاب شركات الشحن والطيران والخدمات اللوجستية العالمية.The investment vision includes establishing an aviation activity and an airline company linked to the project, to support its operations and extend its service network in the future — attracting global cargo, aviation and logistics companies.
كفاءات عراقية بمعايير دولية — Iraqi Talent, Global Standards — سيعتمد المشروع على الكفاءات العراقية، مع تدريب وتأهيل العاملين وفق المتطلبات والمعايير المعتمدة في قطاع الطيران، وبما ينسجم مع متطلبات سلطة الطيران المدني العراقية والضوابط والمعايير الدولية ذات الصلة.The project will rely on Iraqi competencies, training and qualifying its workforce to the requirements of the aviation sector — in line with the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority and the relevant international regulations and standards.
